We invite you to join us in a sacred journey dedicated to the spirit and grace of Bali as we walk in our beauty nature and reflect our light into the world.

We will create a circle of abundance, compassion and support as we weave together our stories, wisdom and experiences. By learning to listen and discern our inner landscape, we deepen intuition, clarity and learn to find balance and harmony in our lives.

There will be circle time and yoga each day. We are planning three half-day journeys all close to the retreat center. One trip is to a traditional Balinese village, home of sacred white cows, where we will visit a temple, meet local artisans and see the countryside. Another day we will travel to Ubud, the cultural and spiritual center of Bali. Our last day, we will learn how to make a traditional flower offering to bring to a purification ritual and blessing ceremony at a nearby temple and waterfall where we will immerse ourselves in the purest water in Bali.

Our abode in Bali is Bagus Jati, set on 12 acres of hillside gardens overlooking lush bamboo forests in the highlands outside of Ubud, Bali. There is a fresh water pool, spa treatments, Ayurvedic massage, nature walks, treks in the jungle, meditation, Balinese dance lessons and more if you so desire. Or take the time to sit in meditation, tranquility and silence on your private balcony or in the beautiful landscaped gardens during unstructured time.

Average Cost: $$$$    The cost of the retreat is $2350 for a shared double villa (two beds/shared bath). If you prefer a single accommodation the additional cost is $650. (king bed/private bath). The fee includes the retreat, yoga classes, accommodations, all meals, a one hour massage, use of the pool, jacuzzi, herbal steam spa and all activities offered at Bagus Jati, a plate of tropical fruit and water delivered to your villa each day, and the three journeys - everything but your flight, airport transfer and tips.

Training/Lineage: Karen Rosenberg, LISW, is one of the co-creators of Portals to the Self: A Women’s Circle by the Sea. She strongly believes in the healing power of community in women’s lives and is committed to the process of creating communities which encourage women’s growth, individually and collectively. Karen is a clinical social worker in private practice and is involved in global projects.

Lisa Hernandez is a Yoga therapist and will lead the circle in Integrative Yoga Therapy practice. Her devotion is to help women inhabit their bodies with loving-attention and respect, inviting us to respond intuitively to our body’s wisdom. Lisa's teaching emphasizes the harmonic integration of body, mind, emotion and spirit resulting in healing on all levels.
