Exceptional views along with rambling organic gardens, fields, and forest surround the Flower Hill Farm Retreat and are home to a diverse wildlife habitat. Come for a private retreat in nature or Carol can work with you to create a one-on-one custom retreat experience. Forest Bathing, Walks in Nature here at the farm or other beautiful spots nearby in the Pioneer Valley and Berkshires. Art and other creative ventures at Flower Hill Farm Retreat or in the rich cultural area surrounding the retreat. You would not need a car. For over seventeen years, Carol has welcomed guests from around the world. The antique farmhouse is divided into two very private apartments. Our 'writing studio' is between the farmhouse and barn. All three spaces offer air-conditioning, WiFi, and can be private retreats for individuals, or combined and rented as one house for larger groups.

Mission/Lineage: Our rustic retreat opens onto rambling gardens, forest, and hills with wondrous skycapes. The land has evolved into a wildlife habitat and we hope to inspire our guests to cultivate a deep connection with nature. Carol is an artist who has spent more than thirty years working on the land that surrounds Flower Hill Farm Retreat. She has documented over fifty species of butterflies and over 75 species of birds who live here in the wildlife habitat. Our self-catering kitchens are vegetarian.

Our vegetarian kitchens are self-catering. Carol can also do a shop for food for a small fee and add cost of food to bill. Local caterers are also available. And Carol can take you to local co-ops and farmer's markets year round to help you enhance your retreat with delicious food. We can create a custom retreat around food.

Our kitchens are vegetarian. We encourage our guests to support local organic farmers. We do not use any chemicals on our land. All cleaning products and laundry soap are Seventh Generation. We are part of a solar community project. We support a wildlife habitat. Over 50 species of butterflies and 70+ bird species have been sighted in our gardens, fields and forest. They are documented in Carol's vivid images and by family on our website.
